SoftPause is designed to respect your privacy. The app helps people take short breathing pauses during stressful moments and is built to work without requiring personal accounts.

Information We Collect

SoftPause does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or precise location.

Your breathing sessions, reminders, and preferences remain on your device.

Local Data Storage

To function properly, SoftPause stores settings locally on your device, including:

• selected language
• reminder preferences
• breathing pace settings
• appearance preference (light, dark, or automatic)
• privacy and analytics preference

This data is not uploaded to external servers by default.

Analytics (Optional)

SoftPause can use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns such as app opens, completed breathing sessions, and reminder activation.

Analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled anytime in app settings under Privacy.

Notifications

SoftPause can send optional reminders when notifications are enabled. These reminders are scheduled on your device and can be turned off in app settings or device settings at any time.

Data Sharing

SoftPause does not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties.

Children's Privacy

SoftPause does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
