Overview

SoftPause is designed to work without accounts and without requiring personal information.

Data stored on your device

SoftPause stores your preferences locally on your device. This may include language, reminders, breathing settings, appearance preferences, and analytics preference. This data is not sent to a server.

Analytics

SoftPause uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. These analytics may include events such as:

• app opens
• breathing session starts
• breathing session completions
• reminder enable / disable events
• settings interactions

Analytics do not intentionally include your name, email address, or directly identifying personal information.

Analytics can be turned off anytime in app settings.

Notifications

Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device.

Third-party services

SoftPause uses:

• PostHog for anonymous analytics
• Buy Me a Coffee for optional support

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
