softPause is now on iPhone

softPause is on the App Store today. It is free, it does not ask you to sign up, and it works with no connection at all.

What it does

You open it and you breathe. Inhale for four seconds, top up for two, then let the exhale run long — eight to ten seconds. That is the whole thing, and it takes about twenty seconds.

There is no library to browse, no course to start, and nothing to finish. The app was built for the moment before a difficult conversation, or just after a message that landed badly — the moments when a twenty-minute routine is not an option.

The plant

A small plant grows with every pause you take. It moves through seed, seedling, and flourishing, and its state reflects the mood you log afterwards — calm, okay, or stressed. It is there so your progress has a shape that is not a number.

Your data stays yours

There is no account and no server holding your history. Your pauses, moods, and preferences live in your device's local storage. Anonymous analytics are off by default and can stay that way.

softPause speaks English, French and Arabic, and you can switch at any time in settings.
