How do I restore a purchase?
softPause+ stays with your App Store account, not with an account of ours. On a new phone, or after reinstalling, open softPause, tap softPause+ at the top of Settings, then Restore in the top corner. Use the same Apple ID you bought it with.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Settings → Your data → Delete all data. That erases everything softPause has recorded on this phone, and it can’t be undone. Deleting the app erases it too. There is nothing to delete on our side: we have no account and no copy of your pauses. A purchase stays with your Apple ID and can be restored.
What leaves my phone?
Nothing you record. Your levels, your pauses and your reminders stay on this phone. Only these can leave it:
- Purchases. If you buy softPause+, Apple handles the payment, and we use Adapty to know that you bought it, under a random ID that isn’t your name or email.
- Anonymous usage events, only if you choose to share them. Which screens are used and when the app crashes, never your levels or your pauses. Change it any time in Your data.
- A small settings file the app downloads from this site. The request carries nothing about you.
The privacy policy has the details.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions → softPause and Cancel Subscription. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to stop the next charge; softPause+ stays until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
SOS, Not okay? and the before → after question stay free either way.
Is softPause medical care?
No. softPause is a breathing practice, not medical care, and it does not replace a doctor or emergency services.
If you have trouble breathing, chest pain or feel faint, or you are thinking about harming yourself, get urgent help now. In the app, Not okay? is always on Home: it shows the emergency number and a support line for your phone’s region, and it works offline. You can also call your local emergency number; 112 works from most mobile phones.
